Journey begins.. [Part2]

I should say there was no expectations on air hostess as the flight is operated by Etihad Airways, the primary airways of UAE. Just got into the AirBus-320 and seated next to the window. I don't say it fortunate or unfortunate either to get that seat, as I don't  know how far sitting on the aisle would have made a difference! Believe me seriously,  who ever designed the flight seatings for economy class, should be a dwarf!, have not met peoples at 6ft in height. Literally a very bad design ,I would say, for such a long tiring journey!  The old fashion of crew members explaining the safety features are now digitalized and are played on 7" LCD screen before each person. It's a boring session for frequent flyers but worth listening to them again by just considering the value of life! The flight took off from the ground.

It's was still 5'O clock in the morning, and I was feeling sleepy.. Who won't feel, after the whole night fight for boarding the flight?! Somehow managed to browse through the list of movies on the LCD meanwhile the crew started serving breakfast. Ya, so fast for the breakfast at 5AM, but to be true, I was hungry too. Unfortunately, I didn't give my meal preference, in which case they will apologise when your preference is not available.  You need to manage with the rest of available items. But, don't worry, you will be fed enough, literally!! I preferred for asian veg meal, as I was already enlightened by my best buddies  not to go for  non-veg as long as I was comfortable with the travel.. Luckily it was available and she gave me some stuffed paranthas and sabji for them. Yummy!! Along with these, there always used to be default items which includes  a baked bread with butter and jam, a juice of preferred choice, and sometimes a chocolate bar. After having all these, I wished to have a cappuccino, but thinking of the fact that I need to sleep, I skipped it. Took a little nap, may be for about 2hrs with disturbances here and there due to small place over there, woke up just half an hr before landing in Abu Dhabi.  The first 4hrs of journey was almost over.. It was awesomatic to see through the window!!

It was waves of sand all over, and on nearing the airport, perfection in planning the city can be seen. The roadways resembled like those diagrams that we drew in engineering design subject with scale and pencil, and it's stunning view to see from the air.  Saw a huge structural looking like a indoor stadium may be, a star fish shaped, red in colour with Ferrari logo on the top! Leant that was a indoor theme park! Missed to take a snap of it! Should try on the return journey. Let's see. Finally the flight landed in Abu Dhabi international airport, kind of new and very neat airport i would say. What you can see everywhere is a sign reading "Turn it Off". No wonder they have those signs, as it's one of those city preferring to use petrol instead of water! Yes, they mean it! "Save Water". Dint go anywhere, dint  see anything other than what's on the terminal sidewalls while waking to the gate to board the next flight to JKF. Informed home that I was safe there in Abu Dhabi. Checked time then and It's 8:45AM.. 3 hours of transit time flew just like 3 mins over there!! May be the flight was delayed!! Lost tract of time!!  All set to board Boeing 767 to NewYork! Woohooooo!!!
